The sixth Myradian Assault was held on the 13th January 2007 at the AtoZ cyber café in Banting. The event was jointly organized
by Team Cubetech, AtoZ cyber café and Gogobase Game Points Cards. The event started at 3:00pm and ended at
approximately 9:00pm.
Combat Zone: Banting-2 saw 7 DOA teams turn up for this event which was offering a total of RM300 and RM150 worth of Gogobase
Point Cards, plus Winner Trophies and Medals for the first ever time.
The finals saw one of the best if not the best Ancient Temple matches ever played in DOA. A2Z-A and A2Z-B, which dominated the
group matches met once again in after drawing in the Group A’s match. A2Z-A showed that they had a little more than A2Z-B by leading
6-4 at the end of the first half. In the second half, A2Z-A started strongly by scoring the next point, but things took a new twist when A2Z-B
showed tremendous fighting spirit and tactical skill. The crowd was awed as they blitzed their way back by picking up 5 points in a row to
lead at 9-7! After that it was a fight to the finish, with teams frequently relying on the last man to score the round. The quiet but tense
atmosphere was finally ruptured with thunderous applause as A2Z-B scored their 11th at 8-11 to win the Championship and to lift the
trophy as Champions of Myradian Assault: Combat Zone Banting-2!
AtoZ cyber café also prepared their special AtoZ burgers and other refreshments to those who attended the event. During the prize
giving, Mr Rickie Chea from AtoZ cyber café and Mr Tonny Tong from Cubetech gave away the prizes to the winners.
The organizers also expressed gratitude to Gogobase for sponsoring their Gogobase Game Point Cards as prizes and a special round
of applause to all players for making this a successful event.
