The event was held in a Alam Sentral shopping complex located in Shah Alam. Event date was on August 31st , 2008. The event is jointly organized by Cube Tech Asia with venue sponsored by Thunder Match Technology. This is the first MA which held in open air compared with the past MA which was held in cyber café.
The main purpose of the MA Merdeka is again to gather the growing community from entire state in Malaysia. It is also been organized in the purpose of celebrating event for Merdeka day.
The total 8 teams were fulfilled during the day and the tournament starts on 12.30pm. The crowds turn out were approximately 60 people with the large changing number of public audience from time to time. The tournament successfully ended at 8.00pm with the following winners:
